Company Information

Electronic Navigation Ltd (ENL) is New Zealand’s premier marine electronics company. Founded in 1945, ENL is a privately owned company that has earned a solid reputation for genuine service, innovation and supply of quality marine electronic products.

ENL is a key supplier to New Zealand’s internationally renowned superyacht industry. ENL provides customers with turnkey solutions incorporating entertainment systems, satellite and terrestrial communications, computer systems and networks, navigation systems and monitoring, and control systems. ENL can customise a solution for a 10m-130m leisure or commercial vessel.

ENL’s own WASSP multi-beam sonars have been developed to provide fishermen with a greater understanding of the fishing environment through the application of multi-beam technology and advanced signal processing.

The WASSP W3 system combines the multi-beam sounder with high accuracy motion and position sensors to create an incredibly detailed map in real time on board the tender, that can be transmitted back to the mothership in real time, allowing superyachts to safely navigation in uncharted waters.
