Following the very successful international launch of its new Sportjet range last year, the world’s leading jet tender specialist, Williams Jet Tenders, was delighted to debut the third model in the range at both the 2015 Cannes Yachting Festival and the Southampton Boat Show.
Powered by the BRP Rotax 4-TEC 125HP engine, and capable of reaching speeds in excess of 71km/44miles per hour, the Sportjet 400 offers blistering performance and an exhilarating ride. Perfect for wakeboarding and waterskiing, the model has huge appeal to standalone boaters, as well as being the perfect tender solution for yacht owners looking for their next tender.
The BRP Rotax 4-TEC series is recognised as one of the cleanest and quietest engines in the industry, providing high performance, superior handling and low maintenance, as well as meeting the stringent CARB 3-star ultra-low-emission standards. As a yacht tender, the Sportjet 400 offers supreme safety with no exposed propeller, easy boarding and a concealed bathing ladder – offering the stability and comfort that only a RIB can give.
Just some of the features on board the new Sportjet include a large sports platform area, rear-facing sports lounge seats, convertible backrest for sunbathing, folding helm with windshield and seating for 5 in comfort. A windscreen, ski pole, navigation lights and bathing ladder are fitted as standard with optional extras including LED lights, bimini, chart plotter and a Fusion music system.
Mathew Hornsby, Sales Director at Williams Jet Tenders, commented: “We have been delighted with the response to the launch of the Sportjet range to date and look forward to introducing the Sportjet 400 to the world. A fantastic new addition to the range, the model is designed as the perfect tender for yachts 20metres plus, as well as being ideal for watersports enthusiasts.”
The Sportjet is available in four different colour schemes, with customers being able to select from the sleek tones of the Neptune Grey or Basalt Black, opt for the sporty Electro Blue, or go bold with the Lava Red look.
Williams Jet Tenders, with its Sportjet, Turbojet and Dieseljet ranges, is recognised as the world’s leading manufacturer of jet-powered tenders. The company has developed strong relationships with leading yacht manufacturers including Princess, Sunseeker, Fairline, Azimut Benetti, Ferretti, Oyster, Jeanneau and Beneteau – with many models being specifically designed to accommodate a Williams tender.
