The European Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition (EBACE) is the premier annual event for business aviation and this was the second year that Abacus Aviation exhibited at this prestigious event.

Over 450 exhibitors represented over 40 countries and visitors to the event represented more than 100 countries. The static display featured a wide range of 60 aircraft on the tarmac of Geneva International Airport adjacent to the main arena for exhibitors, the Palexpo. The total footprint of exhibitors exceeded previous years which is a measure of the events continued success.

Several receptions and coffee networking sessions were held over the 3 days of the event which were all very well attended and the convention also hosted a number of talks.

Our services were discussed with the many visitors to our stand by Samantha Snow - Client Services Manager from our Malta office, John-Michael McCann - Trust Manager and Stephen Colderwood- Business Development Manager from our Isle of Man office.

Abacus Aviation provides international ownership structures, both onshore and offshore, the importation of aircraft using VAT structuring and all accounting and company secretarial work at the corporate level, as well as aircraft registration.

With technology making the World a smaller place so that business meetings can take place anywhere at any time, it is interesting to see that business aviation and private jets continue to create such a large industry.

Plans for EBACE 2017 have already begun with next year’s event already scheduled from 22 – 24 May.
