FarSounder, Inc. announced today that Michael Mathewson has joined the company in a newly-created position of Director of Global Sales. Reporting to CEO Cheryl M. Zimmerman, industry professional Mathewson is charged with addressing the continued growth in the international marketplace for FarSounder key technologies for commercial, defense and private luxury yachts.

A mechanical engineer by training, Mathewson has spent his career managing multifaceted projects and developing high-performing engineering and sales teams. His extensive expertise and familiarity with the marine science, technology, engineering and international marketplace make him a welcome addition to the FarSounder family. His demonstrated abilities to streamline workflows, reduce operating costs and accelerate quality and performance are value added strengths FarSounder was also seeking.
