Yachting Partners International (YPI) is pleased to announce the launch of a new partnership with Trader Marine, Malta.

This partnership will bring significant benefits to YPI clients through preferential rates and purchase opportunities on marina deals that arise throughout Malta, as the country undergoes significant transformation and inward investment with a primary focus on the marine industry.

Trader Marine is headed up by Edward Woods, a pioneer of the superyacht industry in Malta with over 25 years of industry experience. Edward has been responsible for the import of most Sunseeker yachts in Malta as well as playing a key role in the realisation of the Grand Harbour Marina project. He also sits on the board of several marine projects currently under discussion. Trader Marine is the official Maltese Agent for Riva, Heysea and Fairline, and the new partnership empowers YPI to offer our clients competitive purchase deals on these yacht brands.

Through this partnership, YPI can offer attractive leasing options, including berths in Manoel Island Marina, which has the capacity to accommodate yachts up to 100m. YPI clients will also benefit from exclusive discounted rates on service, maintenance and refit at the Malta base of the renowned Palumbo shipyard.

From a charter perspective, YPI will benefit from in-depth, up-to-date insight into VAT rates and itineraries starting and/or finishing in Malta. Although not yet a major charter destination, Malta offers spectacular diving with caves and wrecks in Gozo, and a fascinating history for on land exploration.

We look forward to introducing clients to Trader Marine and the superyacht experience in Malta.
