Today, Thursday 19 October, players took their opening tee shots at the 29th Pinmar Golf tournament.  Yacht owners, captains, crew, shipyards, suppliers, brokers, and stars from the world of TV, golf and music, have all descended on Mallorca to take part in the friendly charity tournament - alongside a plethora of VIP entertainment.  

This year, refit and repair hub Astilleros de Mallorca is sponsoring the Friday Night Party at Palma’s all-new Social Boutique Club on the Paseo Marítimo.  

Astilleros de Mallorca has supported The Pinmar Golf for a number of years but, as this year signals a landmark birthday for the shipyard, they’ve decided to step up their involvement to ‘Condor Sponsor’ status.

“This is a very special year for the shipyard,” says Director General Diego Colon, “it’s now 75 years since we were founded.  We wanted to celebrate this important anniversary and treat our clients and friends who have made the long journey with us.”

Enjoying its Grand Opening on 9 September this year, Social Boutique Club has already made its mark on Palma’s night-time scene and is receiving rave reviews.  For tomorrow’s Astilleros de Mallorca-sponsored event, the line-up includes DJ Kiko Navarro and friends, with Florencio Cruz on Sax, D7 providing the vocals and Benji Habichuela on percussion.
