After several successful meetings, starting at this years Monaco Yacht Show, and concluding in Holland this week, Co-founding partner Chasan Kalfoglou and Managing Director, Achmet Giourouk, of Finishing De Luxe GmbH, along with Kevin Viles, Founder and CEO of Concept Yachts, announced that Finishing De Luxe are to acquire Concept Yachts finishing division with Kevin Viles joining the Finishing De Luxe board as their new Commercial Director.
Kevin is bringing his 20 years worth of marine industry knowledge and knowhow, along with a new UK office to assist with the rapid expansion of Finishing De Luxes international operations.
Finishing De Luxe, regarded as “the best kept secret in the superyacht painting industry”, currently have five 50 metre + projects running simultaneously in Hessen Yachts, Holland, along with two 90 metre refit projects currently underway at Royal Huisman.
Kevin stated that “he couldn't be happier to be working with such an inspiring and well managed team of superyacht painting and finishing experts and is very much looking forward to a very positive and successful future together”.
Managing Director Achmet said “We are happy to have Kevin Viles onboard. We were very impressed when we saw the skills and experience Kevin owns in the Super Yacht business. The acquisition will improve FDL ´s presence in the yacht market along with keeping our important value of being the number one in quality”.
Finishing De Luxe currently have over 250 yacht painting experts and as part of this acquisition, they look to expand much further, whilst always maintaining the highest of industry standards.
