Nearly the end of the year and with the season of international shows well underway, IPM Group participated in the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS) with the presence of STP Shipyard Palma and Marina Ibiza as two of its leading facilities in the nautical sector and as an outstanding part of the comprehensive repair, maintenance and sailing offer that the Balearic Islands offer as a nautical destination.
Throughout the days of the show, representatives of IPM Group participated in several activities on behalf of STP Shipyard Palma and Marina Ibiza. As founding members of the Balearic Yacht Destination, together with the other partners in the sector, they had a stand located in the superyacht pavilion, which, as in the previous edition, was added to the presence of the Institute of Business Innovation (IDI) and the Ministry of Labour, Trade and Industry to support the Balearic nautical sector in its intense promotional work.
As part of the program of activities to promote their facilities, representatives of IPM Group met with the Commercial Delegate from the Embassy of Spain in Miami, Inmaculada Gutiérrez, the General Director of Industrial Policy of the Balearic Islands, Manuel Porras and with Nuria Hinojosa, Managing Director of IDI who travelled to Florida, with the objective of exchanging impressions about the diverse opportunities that the American market represents for the Balearic Islands.
Marina Ibiza and STP Shipyard Palma participated, as founding members of the Balearic Yacht Destination Association in the sponsorship of the exclusive event organized by Superyacht One magazine aboard M/Y Eternity. On this beautiful yacht of 65 meters, managed by Burgess, an interesting reception was offered that lasted until late at night.
Likewise, STP and Marina Ibiza were also sponsors, as every year, of the event organized by Fraser Yachts to choose "the best captain of the year". Todd Lee, captain of M/Y Sienna was the winner this time with a prize of a free stay over a weekend at Marina Ibiza, and a dinner at a Michelin star restaurant in Palma de Mallorca by STP. These awards have so far been highly valued by the winners and both Marina Ibiza and STP await the winners with open arms.
In this latest edition of FLIBS, the IPM Group representatives also visited the stand of Cimolai to greet those responsible for the assembly of Europe's largest travel -1,000 tons-, which has been operating at STP since September. The stand of Cimolai was decorated with some photos of the travel lift already operative in STP, of which, in the words of the Director of the company, they feel especially proud.
The IPM Group also greeted customers and collaborators like every year, hoping to see them again at the next edition.
