Time and time again we receive calls from engineers on board superyachts with the same problem.... Dimming!
The lights on various equipment are illuminating at various rates or there are over heating issues.
The reason these problems can occur is because when the dimming circuit has more than one input, it will accumulate the amps and this can cause interference.
It is concerning when you see a beautifully designed bridge and the lights have insulation tape or the like covering lights that cannot be dimmed. Or where some lights are bright whilst others are dim.
The solution:
The 6 Channel Isolated Dimmer. You can have 6 different dimming requirements on it, it is possible to set the dimmest and brightest setting on each input. this is not a ‘vanity panel’ to be on display. This would connect to a push button or rotary dimming potentiometer. If you require more than 6 inputs then multiple units can be connected to each other whilst still providing independent inputs. The price is very reasonable - if you contact by email sales@wills-ridley.com or by phone +441326376015 and the sales team will be happy to assist.
This product has already proved to be very popular in the Superyacht industry because of the problem that is solves aesthetically on the bridge.
