The NS-Series crane, represents the latest state-of-the-art technology with regards to hydraulic motion and control. This enables the operator to control the crane intuitively at the touch of the joystick. Perhaps even more valuable for the superyacht market, however, is the fact that the NS-Series crane provides a 2:1 strength-to-weight ratio.  The crane system is built on several moment-capacity platforms, which allow Nautical Structures to build the equipment in capacities starting at 500kg, which goes up incrementally to 2000-kg safe working load capacity. The secret behind its impressive strength-to-weight ratio is material – the NS-Series is constructed entirely from aluminium and duplex stainless steel, including all hydraulic fittings and components.  All of the NS-Series cranes are built with Nautical Structures’ non-fouling, load-limiting, nearly-silent hydraulic linear winch system.

The NS-Series crane can also be integrated into a number of different configurations. Mounted to a periscoping standpipe, the crane can stow nicely below deck, and ‘pop-up’ for deployment, or mounted to a pedestal base for typical mounting configuration.

The HMC (Hydraulic Mini-Crane) davit system is an example of exceptional design for the modern yacht. Its primary material of construction is aluminum alloy, including aluminum hydraulic cylinders, which make the system light and resistant to corrosion. Wired or wireless controllers are supplied with the davit.
The HMC Davit was designed to look appropriate on the bow of a modern sportfish yacht, or pedestal mounted on the foredeck of a large motoryacht.  These davits are considered "Blue-Water" davit systems, ideal for wet locations with demanding duties.
The davit systems are available in both mono-boom and boom-extending types, with SWL capacities starting at 500-kg and going up to 1200-kg (1100-Lb to 2650-lb).  Several of these davit models may be delivered with LAME-HOP (Handling of Persons) compliance.

The “Nautical Lift” system is a result of years of product research and development and represents the current “state of the art” in transom lift technology. The Nautical Lift Systems are built from 316L low carbon stainless steel, the most suitable material for withstanding the harsh marine environment. Component parts include stainless steel hydraulic cylinders, stainless steel braided hose sealed with an epoxy heat shrink, and stainless steel fittings. Features include hydraulic mechanical locking system, radio remote control, manual back-up pump and safety cutout relay. The finished product is sandblasted and painted with underwater primer especially formulated for stainless steel. Each unit is engineered for a specific style boat. The hull attachment brackets are engineered to provide maximum surface area in contact with the transom to minimize fiberglass fatigue. Less

For over two decades the EZ-Systems Hydraulic Deck Crane has proven to be of the highest state-of- the-art yacht crane technology in an aesthetically pleasing design. Nautical Structures manufactures the knuckle-Boom crane design in capacities from 1000-kg to over 12,000-kg (2200-lb to 25,000-lb), with or without hydraulic telescoping boom sections. The crane has been engineered and designed as a true yacht crane, not just another marinized commercial crane. The EZ-Knuckle-Boom Crane’s aluminum boom is capable of being loaded to its full safe working load capacity in any position without restriction. The intelligent engineering inherent in this design allows distributed load-deflection across the boom during moments of high dynamic loading, reducing the amount of shock-loading transmitted to the deck. Virtually silent-operating, our Hydraulic Linear Winch system, a totally non-fouling winch design reflects the innovative and dependably safe operating characteristics built into the boom. This feature adds the additional element of operational safety as the winch travels with the boom during operation of the crane. This prevents any possibility of two-blocking the system causing damage to the composite line. In applications complying with the MCA Mega Yacht Code, the Linear Winch is capable of being placed into a free-fall condition with operational control by the operator. The crane features hydraulic power rotation providing the ultimate in tender-handling convenience. Control of the crane is with a remotely operated wireless joy-stick proportional control on a removable pendant. Manual hydraulic controls are also provided, located behind a hinged and latched access panel. A low-profile cylindrical style pedestal base is the typical mount for the EZ-Systems Knuckle-Boom Crane.  Like all EZ-Systems Cranes, the Knuckle-Boom cane may be delivered rated and certified Man-Riding compliant. Nautical Structures specializes in the design and manufacture of individually-built exceptional Side Boarding Ladders. Each stairway is built to order and to the exacting standards of the client. No two are necessarily produced exactly alike as each vessel we build for tends to be unique. The Side Accommodation Stairway may be designed to stow in the vessel's bulwark or deploy from under the deck in a self-leveling ‘Jack-knife’ style.

Rugged stainless steel and aluminum alloy construction along with attention to the finer details is what differentiates the Nautical Structures Stairway from that of all other manufacturers. From your first step onto your Nautical Structures Stairway you know that you have arrived back on board in the comfort and style that you are accustom. The exceptional quality and value of your vessel has now extended all the way to the dock as the stairway is typically the primary entranceway onto your yacht. Quality features include: Watertight enclosure fabricated in either steel or aluminum alloy, Automatic Deployment, hydraulic luffing and slewing, the ability to self-support its weight above the dock or water while passengers are boarding with very minimal deflection, stainless steel handrails, traditional seamed teak walking surfaces, LED lighting hand-laid into the teak, wireless remote control, call-bell/intercom/security system, hydraulic automation including self-support and float-feature, and automated hydraulic boarding gate.

Nautical Structures established the industry standard in man-portable boarding stairways with the Deluxe Tri-Rail Yacht Stair over twenty years ago.  These stairs feature Carbon Fiber or fiberglass treads that appear to “float” in suspension between the two carbon fiber or Oval Stainless steel side-rail supports. These monorail side supports eliminate the scissors-like pinch potential of other boarding stair designs, and provides a stiffer, more solid & secure feel when walking on the stairs.  The stairs are clad with natural inlaid teak non-skid treads for safety and appearance.  Dual offset handrails, fabricated from either carbon fiber or polished stainless steel is provided for your boarding safety.  The DTR Yacht Stairs rod-mount conveniently and lock securely into flush-mount stainless steel hull side brackets.   Rotation mounting platforms and /or self-storing pocketing Yacht Stairs are also available as optional features. The Folding-Crane system represents the innovation and thoughtful design that Nautical Structures typically brings to the challenge of creative tender-handling solutions. Developed for use as a below-deck integrated crane system, the folding crane’s primary design benefit is to live in an enclosed space under a deck hatch. Potentially a very wet, humid and corrosive environment for any machinery. The Folding Crane is constructed from aluminum alloy, utilizing composite bushings to eliminate the reaction of dissimilar metals. Our current designs begin at working load capacities of 800lb / 362kg to 20,000lb/9070kg. Any of these cranes may be ordered built to full Classification Society compliance as SOLAS or HOP type cranes. The Folding Crane’s telescoping aluminum boom is capable of being loaded to its full safe working load capacity in any position without restriction. The intelligent engineering inherent in this design allows distributed load- deflection across the boom during moments of dynamic loading, reducing the amount of shock-loading transmitted to the deck. Virtually silent-operating, our Hydraulic Linear Winch system, a totally non- fouling winch design reflects the innovative and dependably safe operating characteristics built into the extending boom. This feature adds the additional element of operational safety as the winch travels with the boom extension during operation of the crane. This prevents any possibility of two-blocking the system causing damage to the cable. The crane features hydraulic power rotation. The crane is remotely operated with a wireless joy-stick operated proportional control provided with an optional-use re- movable pendant.  The crane system is assembled and installed onto one of our three dynamic load-testing centers where our quality assurance team dynamic load tests and inspects every crane we produce prior to delivery to the customer.
