The regatta season has started with good wind, and as every year, on the last Friday of June, a new edition of the prestigious Su Majestad La Reina Trophy, already famous for its high level of competition, begins in Valencia. On this occasion, 59 boats will participate, of which 16 will compete in the Varadero Valencia ORC Class 1, as the shipyard’s involvement in the event is so strong that it has given the name to one of the classes of the XIX S.M. La Reina Trophy.

In addition, Varadero Valencia plans to deliver a welcome bag to the sailors during the registration period. And as a supplement to this presence during the three days of racing, there will be a stand in the village where Varadero Valencia will offer assistance to the sailors and information about all the products and services offered in their facilities, as well as the authorized specialists with which the shipyard collaborates permanently to offer an excellent service.

From ropes and rigging, masts or hydraulic system revisions to boom or carbon fiber structure inspections, Varadero Valencia, located in the facilities of the Real Club Náutico de Valencia, where the competition is held, will have its technicians on hand in case any boat needs an urgent repair. This passion for the sea of ??the shipyard’s equipment makes the participants have the guarantee of the best attention during its attendance to the race and of course later on too.

Santiago Donat, Managing Director of Varadero Valencia, comments: "It is wonderful to see how the leading boats that we usually have around the shipyard to perform their maintenance works or specific repairs give the best of themselves in this type of competitions. We are very proud to service these yachts and that they allow us to refit their yachts for competitions of this level, and a spectacle that, without a doubt, contributes with dynamism and attractive to the city of Valencia ".

This trophy is one of the most important in the Spanish nautical industry because of the quantity and popularity of the participating boats, as well as the support of the Royal family who, year after year, supports the celebration of this event. Organized by the Royal Yacht Club of Valencia and the Royal Spanish Sailing Federation, and sponsored by Varadero Valencia, the S.M la Reina Trophy will pay homage as every year to the Spanish Navy with the XXX Almirante Sánchez-Barcáiztegui Cup.

Varadero Valencia has become -throughout the years- a yard of reference in the Valencia area for the refit and repair of boats. And all this is due to its professionalism and to the wide portfolio of specialists that give service in its facilities.
