Hill Robinson continues to build the senior management team < Back

By Hill Robinson

As the key players in the yachting industry gear-up for the challenge of a new-world superyacht environment for their clients, Hill Robinson is constantly developing and most importantly, reinforcing its skill base and management excellence to existing strategic objectives. This will also help meet the dynamics of the Covid-19 environment and develop a fresh approach for the crucial support for the future of luxury yachting, going forward.

As the whole Hill Robinson enterprise grows in size, global reach and client support offerings, it was a natural progression to add key roles to further energise the whole of the group operations. With this strategic objective, Hill Robinson can announce they have appointed a Chief Operating Officer and a new Sales and Marketing Director to the expanding team.

Tim Leese, Chief Operating Officer

Bringing a wealth of experience and specialist knowledge, Tim Leese has developed his management credentials working with blue chip businesses such as Jaguar Land Rover as Head of Operations in the Special Vehicle Operations Division. Tim's experience also includes senior positions in Asia, the Middle East and the UK.

His early career began with a thirteen year period at Rolls Royce Motors, starting as a commercial apprentice before ending this part of his business life managing their Royal and VIP sales based in London, before moving to senior roles with other prestige automotive manufacturers. Tim's next career change was into the yacht marketplace in the Middle East as COO of the largest yacht distribution business in that region and later in the same role in South East Asia based in Hong Kong.

Tim Leese comments: ''Joining Hill Robinson as the COO is a great opportunity to use my combined experience in the luxury automobile industry, dealing closely with a discerning client base coupled with the disciplines of working with the specific demographic of the Middle East and Asian market place within the yachting industry. Hill Robinson is an exciting multifaceted business challenge for me going forward with fresh opportunities in all the vertical client sectors they have been so successful in as they grow''.

Kurt Fraser, Sales and Marketing Director

After a high profile career spanning several luxury markets, Kurt has spent the last five years as Marketing and Commercial director with some of the yachting sector’s key charter and sales brokerage businesses – and now joins
Hill Robinson as the Sales and Marketing Director. Kurt brings a wide range of experience to the role including the hands-on operations of dealing with elite clients, orchestrating major brand improvements, and creating compelling yacht marketing campaigns.

Kurt will use his refined expertise to accelerate the charter and sales brokerage operations within the Hill Robinson Group, including the strategic positioning of Moravia Yachting as an emerging boutique brokerage business. Known as a collaborative team player, Kurt will continue to grow and lead the team to help develop fresh relationships with new clients and superyacht industry stakeholders.

Kurt explains: "With the solid foundations built by the Partners and Directors of Hill Robinson, across practically all key areas in the superyacht client support arena, Hill Robinson and Moravia Yachting offer an exciting launch pad to reach out to our clients in new and refreshing ways. We want to focus on the way we make a difference when supporting our clients, especially in these changing and challenging times".

Nick Hill, founding partner adds: ''Even with the new challenges of the 'new-normal' world with the Covid-19 epidemic we are firmly following our strategy of recruiting the best people to drive our business objectives forward. With Tim Leese adding a fresh impetus to structural and process management and Kurt Fraser adding his expertise in developing accelerated sales though fresh marketing initiatives, we will be in a very fit position to take on this new world''.
